Crufts is the greatest dog show in the world.
In 20120 in total, Crufts received more than 2,800 press cuttings. The advertising value equivalent for this coverage is estimated to be over £11 million, with a combined audience reach of over 812 million people.
Over 155,000 visitors attended Crufts in 2020 over the four days, this being just 7% down on previous year of 166,000 (despite the coronavirus status at the time).
Crufts boasts sponsorship from Eukanuba, Royal Canin, Natures Menu, Zoflora, James Wellbeloved, Iams, Arden Grange, Agria Pet Insurance Dorwest Herbs, SmartBones, Purina PRO PLAN, Billy + Margot, Core, Whimzees and Fish4Dogs.
Crufts is televised on More4 and Channel 4. Average viewing figures 8,716,000 million with 15 hours of coverage.
The Crufts website receives over 2.5 million views in the run up to and during the show.
Half of visitors spend more than six hours at the show.
The trade stands were the most visited part of the show, with 83% of all visitors exploring the trade stands.
Over 96% of visitors rated the show as ‘excellent’ or ‘good’.
81% of all visitors own a dog.
