Rupert is cross breed whose age is unknown. He was rehomed by Katie Foster over 7 years ago after he had been picked up as a stray and was not claimed.
He wasn't house trained, had no manners both inside and outside the house, had no social skills with people and other dogs.
Rupert was also quite unruly and had a very destructive streak. At home when Katie was out, he could open doors, climb onto the kitchen work surface and cause havoc wherever he could reach. A number of times Katie came close to giving him back as he was a real handful and so difficult to live with. However, she decided to give Rupert extra time to get to know him and take him training to see if she could build a bond with him. Thankfully this made all the difference and slowly but surely he improved and has become Katie’s dog of a lifetime.
By getting involved in the KCGCDS Rupert turned a corner and has gone on to pass his KCGCDS Bronze, Silver and Gold awards. He was then asked to be part of the display team at PADS dog training in Stafford which he loves and performs really well. Rupert also enjoys attending fun dog obedience classes and gundog training.Vote now!
