Border Collie and owner win British Open for Medium Dogs Agility at Crufts 2013

Raeannes Aurora, a Border Collie and owner Rebecca Sargent from Newton-le-Willows, Merseyside won the Kennel Club British Open agility competition for medium dogs at the world’s greatest dog show, Crufts.

The international event saw the top large, medium and small dogs from different countries, which qualified at the KC International Agility Festival in August 2012, take to the ring to compete in the final.

Rebecca and Raeannes Aurora won in the medium category after competing at Crufts in both jumping and agility. They had the fewest combined faults in the fastest combined time, calculated over the two rounds of the final.

Caroline Kisko, Kennel Club Secretary said: “Competing in this event are the top agility competitors from a number of different countries. It really made for an exciting event.
“We would like to congratulate Rebecca and Raeannes Aurora for their fantastic achievement.”

Crufts took place from 7 - 10 March 2013 at the NEC, Birmingham. For more information visit
