Australian Shepherd wins Pastoral Group at Crufts

Beating thousands of other dogs, Tiffany (Ch Allmark Fifth Avenue JW), an Australian Shepherd from Oakham, Rutland reached the final of Crufts after winning Best in Group for the Pastoral group today (Sunday March 10th).

Tiffany (2), handled by Angie Allan went on to compete for the prestigious title of Best in Show tonight. She and six other dogs made it through to the final of the world’s greatest dog show Crufts, at the NEC in Birmingham.

More than 20,000 dogs competed over the four days of the show for the chance to win the most celebrated title in the world of dogs which was won by Jilly (Ch Soletrader Peak A Boo) a Petit Basset Griffon Vendeen.

Tiffany’s handler Angie said: “I’m over the moon, she has had a fantastic career already and she is only two years old. She is full of life to go out in front of thousands of people and qualify for the final is amazing.”

Caroline Kisko, Kennel Club Communications Director, said: “We were delighted to see Tiffany chosen as the Best in Group winner today, she is such a lovely dog that clearly loves being in the show ring and has a great relationship with her handler.

“Reaching the Best in Show final at Crufts is a fabulous achievement for any dog, she did so well.”
Tiffany was bred and is owned by Neil Allan, a Kennel Club Assured Breeder along with Robert Harlow. Assured Breeders follow the high standards set by the scheme to ensure that all of their dogs have the best chance of a happy and healthy life.
