Over the four days of Crufts, the seven different pedigree dog groups are shown, and every day, as each group is judged, a Best in Group winner is chosen.
These Best in Group winners go on to compete in the grand finale on the last evening of the show for the ultimate title of Best in Show. The winner of the Best in Show class is the top dog in the world!

Celebrating the best
Crufts is a fantastic celebration of the best dogs from all over the world. It means so much to so many who love and care for their dogs. Discover the Best In Show competitors right through to the vibrant Young Kennel Club; young dog lovers competing in their own ‘junior Crufts’. Be exhilarated by the fast paced Agility and Flyball and watch in awe at the precise work of Obedience dogs.
Expert advice
The theme of Crufts 2012 is happy, healthy dogs. The show will showcase a central exhibit where breeders and dog owners can gain advice from vets and experts about latest research and knowledge on dog health; preventative and care.
A day in the wonderful world of dogs
Every year visitors enjoy the touching stories through the ‘Friends for Life’ competition celebrating our ‘dog heroes’. Crufts provides an opportunity for you to meet and thank the many unsung heroes who the Kennel Club supports, the people who place abandoned or unwanted dogs through Breed Rescue centres.
