A New breed at Crufts!
There is a new breed on show this year – the Kooikerhondje. This breed originates from Holland and is a Gundog. It has grown in popularity in the UK over the last twenty years since Kennel Club recognition, and in 2007 was thought to be ready for the exposure which exhibition at Crufts will bring. Having been transferred from the Imported Breed Register in 2007, the breed was shown in its own classes and was eligible to qualify for Crufts 2008.
Kooikerhondjes can be seen in ring 36 (Hall 5) tomorrow. A total of 17 are entered.
