Welcome to Crufts
As I write, the NEC in Birmingham is being transformed into a venue to accommodate ‘The World’s Greatest Dog Show’. Many Kennel Club staff members have been here for a number of days to oversee this and ensure that we are ready for the arrival of nearly 23,00 dogs, together with handlers, trade stand holders and spectators to the Show.
Tomorrow we concentrate on the exhibition and judging of the Toy and Utility groups. The International Obedience Competition will also commence, together with a range of events and activities in the Working Dog Forum, Good Citizen Ring and the Young Kennel Club exhibition area.
