Come along to the National Launch of Crufts 2008 which will provide many photograph and interview opportunities!
Crufts, the world’s greatest dog show will be staged by the Kennel Club at the NEC in Birmingham from 6th – 9th March 2008.
Make sure you come along when the Kennel Club arranges the National Press Launch of Crufts in Green Park just off Piccadilly on Tuesday 26 February 2008 at 10.30am. This year’s Crufts will welcome 153,000 visitors and 22,964 of the best dogs in the world to compete for the prestigious title, Best in Show. This falls short of the 1991 world record entry by just 27 dogs!
Crufts celebrates the bond between people and their dogs and favours campaigns such as the current Year of the Assistance Dog. Pets as Therapy (PAT) dogs provide people with therapy, comfort and companionship and will celebrate their Silver Jubilee at Crufts 2008. To help mark the launch of Crufts and highlight the way in which dogs and people nurture and look after each other, Pets as Therapy and five PAT dogs will be joined by dog lover James Caan of Dragon’s Den and director of Fit Fur Life, which promotes the rehabilitation and training of dogs.
