PS From Mirk

Press Packer Tally & Scarlett were 3rd in the Heelwork to Music competition for the YKC, what a team! Scarlett also met Kate from Britain's Got Talent with her "up and coming "pup Ice, signing Kate's new book of HTM tips and techniques.

And finally from Mirk

Keep in touch, the Press Pack are involved in all parts of the dog world now and we will be reporting from a dogs point of view from all over the country.

Palma meets Charmin

After a morning’s hard work scenting out all the news stories at Crufts my human and I took the opportunity of a quick break, with a cup of coffee for her and a nice drink of water for me. There was a very nice lady sitting next to us and she was asking my human about us Cesky Terriers.

Caesar's Final Day at Crufts

Day 4 at Crufts was really busy, Mum had lots of meetings and in fact, so did I!! I love meeting up with so many dogs, there's so much  sniffing and "getting to know you" to he done!

The PAT dog – Palma’s Report

Most of us dogs are first and foremost family pets. We are happy when our humans are happy, and when they are sad we understand and are there for a cuddle. At Crufts I spoke to Celeste who is one of a very special group of dogs called PAT dogs. PAT dogs go to visit elderly folk who can’t have a dog of their own so they can get their share of doggy cuddles too.

Day 4 from Mirk

Well what a few days we all had at Crufts. Palma went to the Press Briefing to work out all there was to sniff out for the day and now she and Caesar have sent in their reports for their last day. We all saw some great performances and met some real VIP’s, it couldn’t have been a better day all round. To top it off I was on Sky News with Carolyn Menteith and gave her a huge kiss live on TV, she just kept to the script, what a pro!

Caesar's Day 3 report

Scout, I had a special tea with the Kennel Club today, and we were invited to join everyone in the Kennel Club Box to watch the arena programme for the evening.

Off duty, but still on the scent of a good story

I had finished work for the day and was on the shuttle bus back to the car park, when I saw this girl wearing the most enormous, pretty pink rosette with stars on it. Well, I’m no stranger to the odd rosette myself being, (ahem! ahem!) though I say it myself, quite successful in the show ring (she says modestly!) but even I’ve never had one as big as that, so I thought she must be someone very important. She was called Phoebe, and it turned out we had something in common, because when I asked her what she enjoyed most about Crufts she said that Discover Dogs was quite good and there were lots of things to buy for us dogs (and for the humans too), but that the very best thing of all was the ice cream! I had to agree there, although I must say that my human keeps buying the Mint Choc Chip one – and she says I can’t have any, because chocolate is bad for us dogs. I think its bad for humans too, so I’m working on her to try a different flavour, than I can have some too.

Palma meets the girls from SOFA

Sometimes people think that when you are young you can’t do anything very responsible. In the Press Pack we know that’s not true – look at Mirk and Scout and me – we’re not very old and we have a VERY responsible job sniffing out all the important news from Crufts.

Day 3

We had a really busy day on day 3 . One of the most important things was that I helped a young person join the Young Kennel Club so she can take part in all of the activities that they organise all around the country. I know Tally and Scarlett have had a great time going to events and training days and summer camps with the YKC and it all paid off with their 3rd place in the final of the YKC Heel Work to Music. Tally also interviewed Pudsey and Ashley who had a great Belly Dancer routine that won out in the final. Pudsey did particularly well because he went for a wander on his own just before the competition and when he came back he had to pull himself together reassure Ashley and get on with the show - what a pair of real Pros.
