Scout's blog

Scout at her home in the Lake DistrictFollowing on from her success at Discover Dogs, we have asked Scout the Border Collie to carry on “blogging” for us in the run up to Crufts 2009. Scout is the first four legged News Hound in Britain and she is training up her Roving Reporters to sniff out all the stories around the show and bring us all the news and goings-on. If you know of any budding journalists in your pack who will be at Crufts, give her a howl by email and you could be signed up to help cover the event.

At Discover Dogs, Jethro the Blood hound, Mya the Dalmatian and Jelly Bean the Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier joined the News Pack. Levi, Mary Ray’s dancing partner spoke to us as did PC from Company of Animals and Monty from Your Dog Magazine. We will be talking to other celebrities, competitors and working dogs of many different types over the next few months.

As all of us dogs have different skills and interests it’s good to speak to different personalities and breeds to get different points of view of what’s going on.

You can also catch up with Scout's Roving Reporters exploring other things about life as a dog at http://dearscout.blogspot.com. .
