DFS Crufts Best in Show is the exhilarating climax of the world’s greatest dog show, where the crème de la crème compete for the most prestigious prize in the dog world.
And this year is set to be bigger and better than ever before as the live final takes place in the brand new Arena at the NEC Birmingham. A dog from each of the seven groups – Working, Utility, Hound, Pastoral, Toy, Terrier and Gundog – will take their place in the Best in Show ring, having been awarded the Best of Breed and then Best in Group accolades in previous judging rounds.
These dogs - of all different shapes and sizes - will strut their stuff as they go head to head in the final showdown, where every member of the audience cheers and wills on their favourite. The Kennel Club approved judge will watch the dogs take their lap of honour and mark them for their overall health and condition, coat, character, temperament, movement and how close they are to the Kennel Club Breed Standard.
And you can now buy your ticket to be there at the nail biting moment when the happiest, healthiest dog, which is the best example of its breed, is announced and crowned Best in Show winner 2010!
