The Kennel Club and the World Union of German Shepherd Associations (WUSV) have today signed an agreement at Crufts to work in partnership in all matters related to German Shepherd Dogs.
The agreement includes both parties working together to implement the worldwide application of the breed standard and securing the mutually agreed health requirements for the breed.
The agreement was signed by Kennel Club Chairman, Steve Dean and Chief Executive, Rosemary Smart and President of the WUSV, Wolfgang Henke and Secretary-General, Clemens-Lux.
Caroline Kisko, Kennel Club Secretary said: “It has taken a lot of hard work to get this agreement in place. We look forward to working together wherever possible for the benefit of the German Shepherd Dog breed.”
