Find Out Who In Your Area Is Competing At Crufts 2015

Will a dog from your area win Best in Show at Crufts next month? Nearly 23,000 dogs from all around the UK and overseas are warming up to take their place at this year’s show, and you can find out who from your area is competing.

More than just a dog show, Crufts is packed full of events and competitions that celebrate the talents of man’s best friend. The tear-jerking Eukanuba Friends for Life dog hero competition returns, while dog agility, flyball, obedience and heelwork to music will all be captivating worldwide audiences.

Back for its third year at Crufts, the crossbreed only competition, Scruffts, sponsored by James Wellbeloved, will be a particular highlight on Friday 6th March, showcasing some of Britain’s most loveable family crossbreeds.

The action of the four days of the event will reach a climax on the evening of Sunday 8th March as the decision is made on which canine will take Crufts Best in Show title.

Approximately 160,000 people are expected to come through the doors of the NEC from the 5th – 8th March to meet the thousands of dogs that will be at Crufts over the four days. Visitors will be able to watch the live events each day throughout the NEC and speak to experts about different breeds and the future of dog health.

Caroline Kisko, Kennel Club Secretary said: “Crufts is a British institution and a must see for all dog lovers. The show has been growing year on year and we are delighted to see so many competitors from all across the UK and from around the world making their way to the NEC in Birmingham again this year.

“Every dog taking part has done so well to get this far in their chosen sport or competition, whether that be showing, agility, Obreedience, heelwork to music, flyball, our crossbreed competition, Scruffts or the fantastic dog hero competition Eukanuba Friends for Life.

“As well as coming to cheer on the dogs from their area, there are so many other dogs for the public to meet, greet and fall in love with throughout the show. We have around 200 different breeds in our Discover Dogs area that visitors can find out about and each day we will have special rescue dogs making an appearance on the Kennel Club Charitable Trust stand.”
