Dog lovers are invited to come along to enjoy the experience of seeing over 3,000 Gundogs entered in the annual National Gundog Association show in Malvern.
32 different breeds of pedigree Gundogs will compete on 7 August for the ultimate ‘Best in Show’ prize and for a chance to take part in the world’s largest dog show, dfs Crufts.
The show is one of 38 General Championship Dog Shows licensed by the Kennel Club throughout the year which enable dogs to qualify for dfs Crufts.
There will be plenty to entertain the general public from watching the judges make their difficult decisions, to seeing the champion dogs first hand. Visitors are warmly welcomed, and will enjoy browsing the trade stands at the show which sell a variety of gifts for dogs and people alike.
A Kennel Club Good Citizen Dog Training Scheme Ring will also be set up to offer competitors the opportunity to take part and achieve their Bronze Award Certificate. More information on this scheme and other Kennel Club initiatives can be found at www.thekennelclub.org.uk.
Show Treasurer, Chris Bexon said “The day promises to be a great day out for the whole family, as car parking is only £1 and entry to the show is free. It is a brilliant opportunity to see so many different breeds of Gundogs.”
