Following the recent cancellation of two breed championship shows due to the inclement weather, the Kennel Club has devised a process allowing owners who qualify their dogs at the rescheduled dates in January to enter dfs Crufts 2011 after the official deadline.
Championship shows for the American Cocker Spaniel Club of Great Britain and Yorkshire and Eastern Counties Pekingese Club both fell victim to the cold snap last Sunday and have been rearranged for dates which fall after the official closing date for entries to dfs Crufts 2011, which is Friday 7th January for postmarked entries and Friday 14th January for online entries.
Qualifiers from the two revised shows must follow the process below on the Monday immediately following the show, between 8.30am and 4.30pm:
1. Email Fosse Data systems via firstname.lastname@example.org with details of entry as per normal entry form
2. Fosse will email back confirming receipt of entry
3. Exhibitor will then telephone Fosse with payment details
Crufts qualifiers from the American Cocker Spaniel Club of Great Britain must enter on Monday 17th January 2011. Qualifiers from Yorkshire and Eastern Counties Pekingese Club must enter on Monday 24th January.
No entries will be accepted after 4.30pm on either date.
