Dogs have a special place in our hearts and most dog owners have a heart-warming story, or two, about their four legged friend. However, not many of these stories actually make it to print.
This year, at dfs Crufts, a certain black Greyhound’s story has been immortalised in ‘Dash – Bitch of the Year’, a book written by Dash’s owner, Andrew Dilger. Dash is a champion ex-racing greyhound who raced at Oxford and stole Andrew’s heart.
The book is a heart-warming tale about the adoption of Dash and her transformation into ring bearer at Andrew’s wedding. The decision to adopt Dash, coincided with Andrew proposing to his girlfriend, Sarah, and the book chronicles their adventures over the 12 months to the wedding.
Both Dash and Andrew are at dfs Crufts, on Saturday 12 March, in Hall 5 at the Tuffies Dog Bed Stand. Andrew will be signing copies of the book and Dash is also adding her pawprint, with a Crufts special pawprint signature.
